Teaching is very important to me. Currently, I teach sociology at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Below are sample syllabi and a description of my experiences teaching in a variety of different settings.

I was a teaching assistant and instructor at SUNY Binghamton, as well as an adjunct instructor at Syracuse University. Since moving to Pennsylvania, I’ve taught at Delaware County Community College and Kutztown University. I have also been a visiting summer lecturer at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey as well the University of Gondar in Ethiopia. Prior to becoming a professor, I was briefly a part-time assistant wrestling coach at Irvine High School in California and a tutor for the Humanities Out There program while an undergraduate at U.C. Irvine.
